Atiku Urges Nigerians to Address Leadership Failures in Christmas Message

Former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has urged Nigerians to address systemic issues, including poor leadership, as part of efforts to rebuild the nation.

In his Christmas message shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, Atiku highlighted the values of love, unity, compassion, and selflessness, which he described as central to the holiday season.

“I extend my heartfelt greetings to the Christian community in Nigeria. This season reminds us of the importance of love, unity, compassion, and selflessness,” he wrote.

Atiku encouraged citizens to reflect on these values and maintain gratitude despite Nigeria’s current challenges. He stressed the need to tackle leadership failures, which he identified as a major cause of widespread suffering in the country.

“I believe in the strength of our unity. With love and togetherness, we can overcome any obstacle,” he added, expressing hope for Nigeria’s resilience and ability to overcome its difficulties.

Atiku’s message comes amid significant economic and social hardships, calling on Nigerians to use the festive period for introspection, solidarity, and a renewed commitment to national progress.
