APC Crisis: Kyari Replaces Adamu As APC’s Acting National Chair [Photos]

Senator Abubakar Kyari, the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s Deputy National Chairman (North), has taken over as the party’s new acting national chairman.
This change comes after Abdullahi Adamu, the embattled former national chairman, abruptly resigned.
Recall that reports of Adamu’s resignation, which Kyari himself confirmed, startled Nigerians.

After the National Working Committee (NWC) meeting in Abuja on Monday, the new APC Acting National Chairman told pressmen that he was Adamu’s successor and that, in accordance with party rules, Festus Fuanter will take over as Acting National Secretary of the APC.
Additionally, he confirmed Iyiola Omisore’s resignation as the Party’s National Secretary.
Adamu skipped Monday’s NWC meeting, while Omisore abruptly left the meeting at the party secretariat in Abuja.
