Dave Umahi has said that President Bola Tinubu represents what he described as the “Biafra the South-East has been looking for,” adding that the region has been fully integrated into the national mainstream under the current administration.

Umahi made the remarks while speaking during the All Progressives Congress presidential primary in Ebonyi State.

According to him, the President has provided the South-East with significant political inclusion, appointments, and infrastructure development.

“Tinubu is the Biafra we have been looking for, a man who has integrated the entire South-East,” Umahi said.

He added that the administration had given the region what he described as “juicy appointments” and key infrastructure projects.

“A man who has given us juicy appointments and a man who has given us very important infrastructure. Bola Tinubu on your mandate we shall stand,” he stated.

Umahi, a former governor of Ebonyi State, is one of the prominent South-East political figures in the ruling APC and has been a strong supporter of President Tinubu’s administration.
