Hillary Clinton Tells House Panel She Has No New Information on Epstein, Calls Questions Repetitive

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told members of the House Oversight Committee during nearly six hours of closed-door testimony Thursday that she has no new information about convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein or his associate Ghislaine Maxwell, while also criticizing Republicans’ approach to the investigation.

In an opening statement that she later posted on X, Clinton said she had no knowledge of Epstein’s criminal conduct and denied any personal connection to him.

“I had no idea about their criminal activities. I do not recall ever encountering Mr. Epstein. I never flew on his plane or visited his island home or offices,” she said.

Speaking to reporters after the session, Clinton said she answered every question posed by lawmakers “as fully as I could,” but described many of them as repetitive. She said she repeatedly told committee members that she never met Epstein and that she knew Maxwell only casually.

“I don’t know how many times I had to say I didn’t know Jeffrey Epstein,” she said.

Clinton added that the questioning took what she described as an unusual turn toward the end of the deposition, when one lawmaker asked about UFOs and the debunked “pizzagate” conspiracy theory.

The testimony marks the latest development in the committee’s probe into Epstein’s network and connections to prominent public figures.
