The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has secured a decisive victory in the recent local government elections held on Saturday, winning all the seats in both Adamawa and Delta States.
According to the results announced by the state electoral commissions, PDP won all 21 chairmanship seats in Adamawa and all 24 chairmanship seats in Delta. The Adamawa State Independent Electoral Commission (ADSIEC) also confirmed that PDP candidates claimed all the councillorship positions in the state.
In a statement, ADSIEC declared all PDP candidates as elected chairmen and invited them to its headquarters today to collect their certificates of return. Twelve political parties participated in the election.

– Simon Musa Shashi (Madagali)
– Abubakar Mustapha (Maiha)
– Umar Nashong (Mayo-Belwa)
– Dan Biyu Paul Tumba (Michika)
– Musa Hassan (Mubi North)
– Hamidu A Jingi (Mubi South)
– Innocent Koto (Numan)
– Abubakar Musa Abba (Shelleng)
– Idris Yahaya (Song)
– Sulaiman Gangkuba (Toungo)

In Delta State, the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC) chairman, Dr. Jerry Agbaike, announced that the PDP won all 24 chairmanship seats. However, the Allied People’s Movement (APM) managed to secure a ward in the Oshimili South local government area.
