President Bola Tinubu who commenced an official visit to Doha, Qatar, arrived at 9:35 pm following his departure from Lagos after commissioning the Lagos Red Line on Thursday afternoon.
The visit, at the invitation of His Highness, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, aims to strengthen cooperation between the two countries across various sectors, including security, cultural exchange, and economic development.
During the visit, President Tinubu is slated to witness the signing of several agreements geared toward enhancing Nigeria’s real sector and fostering value-additive investments in trade, education, culture, solid minerals, digital economy, agriculture, and gas. The focus also extends to cooperation on counter-terrorism initiatives.
