The All Progressives Congress chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, has urged Kano Governor Abba Yusuf to join the ruling party, suggesting his departure from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).

The recent development stems from the Supreme Court’s confirmation of Yusuf as the governor of Kano merely a week ago. Addressing reporters in Kano on Thursday, Ganduje stated that the APC welcomes anyone wishing to join the party. The APC national chairman advised Kano party members not to lament the Supreme Court loss, urging them to embrace gratitude as true democrats.

Ganduje, the former governor of Kano, hinted that additional governors are anticipated to join the APC in the near future. “We are appealing to those who want to join APC to come,” he said.
