Research has shown that factors like a woman’s age, education, Rural or Urban residence and income, influence her domestic violence experience.
In Nigeria alone, one of four women have experienced abuse either psychologically, emotionally or physically while globally, the figure is one in three women.
It’s domestic violence awareness month and it is important to remind women on how not to be a victim and if you are already, you still can make a u-turn .
