Chef Dammy Breaks 100-hour Cooking Record Set By Hilda Baci

Adeparusi Dammy, an Ekiti-based chef, beat Hilda Baci’s 100-hour cooking record while participating in a 120-hour cook-a-thon challenge to become the holder of a Guinness World Record.
In an effort to break a record, Dammy, who has prepared a variety of meals including eba, beans with corn, amala, pounded yam, and rice, reached 100 hours on Monday night.
Her fans and the kitchen assistant were seen celebrating the new feat in the video that was posted online.
However, Adeparusi has faced criticism as a result of the cook-a-thon challenge, which came just a few weeks after Hilda Baci’s 100-hour unofficial record.
Meanwhile, Olayemi Oyebanji, the First Lady of Ekiti State, has praised Nigerian chef ,Chef Dammy, who is currently competing in a 120-hour cook-a-thon challenge.
The pleasant message from the first lady comes at a time when Adeparusi is facing a lot of criticism for her marathon cooking sessions.
Olayemi commended Dammy for her bravery and urged her to press on in spite of opposition.
She also gave the young chef credit for her tenacity and ambition to break the record.
Dr. Olayemi wrote; ”The last 70 hours have been about Chef Dammy @dammypas, a determined Ekiti undergraduate, who is making a bold attempt to break the Guinness World record for the longest cooking marathon. For me, it’s her courage and determination to stand for something positive, using her God-given talent to make a statement.”
