President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to travel to Saudi Arabia today (Tuesday) for an official visit and to perform Umrah from April 11th to April 19th.

This was revealed in a statement issued on Monday by Mallam Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity.

A terse statement by Garba Shehu noted that this being the President’s last official trip to Saudi Arabia, he will seize the opportunity to perform Umrah, the lesser pilgrimage.

“He will be accompanied by his aides,” the terse statement added.
