Peter Obi Challenges APC Over Incorrect Statistics Statement

Peter Obi
Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate, has replied to a statement made by the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) alleging that he always gives false and unverified statistics.

In response to the APC, the former Anambra Governor demanded that the ruling party provide their own correct statistics if he was incorrect about the figures.

Obi stated this while speaking at the Dominican University of Ibadan’s first and second convocation ceremonies.

He contended that nine of every ten statements he has made are unquestionably correct.

The LP’s presidential candidate insisted that he was not making up his statistics because he has been in places of power and knows what it takes.

He said, “If they said I give unverified statistics let them come with their alternatives, if you say I’m wrong let them provide their own, they cannot say I’m wrong if they failed to give their own, for every statement or statistic I made, if you look at ten I will get nine, quote me anywhere, and have always maintained over 75 percent.

“I know what I’m talking about, I’ve been there and I know what it takes; they have not shown anything.”
