Although the details of the meeting are not yet public, it is most likely related to plans for the President to visit Imo State soon.
According to The PUNCH, the Governor informed the State House correspondents during his mid-June visit to the Presidential Villa that Buhari had accepted his invitation to officially launch some of his administration’s development projects.
Additionally, talks about Uzodimma’s participation in the Presidential Council on E-Government and Digital Economy may have taken place during the visit.
The President, in June, appointed the governor as one of the 26 members of the Council to develop strategies to leverage digital technologies for every sector of the economy.
Isa Pantami, Minister of Communication and Digital Economy presides over the Council on behalf of the President, which also includes five additional governors, ministers, and members of the private sector.
The idea of the Governor providing the President with an update on Imo State’s security situation was not precluded.
