Davido Awards Scholarship To A Boy Who Passed His WASSCE Exam With A1 Parallel

A brilliant young boy who had been unable to continue his education due to financial difficulties was given a full university scholarship by Nigerian superstar singer David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, after passing the WASSCE (West African Examination Council) exam with flying colors.

Morro Suleyman, a Ghanaian boy, has been awarded a full scholarship to Adeleke University, according to a tweet from Davido on Wednesday night.

The young student scored A1 in his West African Examinations Council (WAEC) exams but has been home since 2021 due to financial challenges.

His heartfelt apology was posted on the microblogging platform Twitter by Nana Yaw, who urged kindhearted individuals to assist the boy.

Suleyman was the top student at Sunyani SHS in 2021, but due to financial difficulties, he is still living at home, the speaker said.

Davido appealed to netizens for assistance finding the boy early on Wednesday morning after the story went viral.

Davido wrote: “Who can please find this boy for me??”

Again, he tweeted: “Has anyone found him????”

Davido later confirmed the boy had been identified and had been awarded a scholarship along with accommodation and an allowance.

”We have contacted Suleyman who lives in Ghana and he has been given a full 4/5 year scholarship to Adeleke university .. accommodation and allowance included! God bless y’all .. #wrblo,” he tweeted.
