Meanwhile, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, paid a visit to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at his residence in the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday night.

Tinubu, who had previously visited President Muhammadu Buhari, paid a visit to Osinbajo, one of the candidates in the APC Presidential primary election, which was held on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Osinbajo’s spokesman, Laolu Akande, said in a tweet via his Twitter handle that the vice president received a call that Tinubu would stop by to greet him and talk.

He stated that Tinubu arrived with Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and that the Vice President welcomed them along with some of his associates.

The meeting, which lasted about 30 minutes, according to Akande, was pleasant and fruitful.

He wrote: “We got a call: Asiwaju Tinubu who was visiting President at his Presidential Villa residence this evening will be making an unscheduled stop at VP’s residence also.

“Lagos Gov accompanied him & VP received the surprise with some of his associates whom he was meeting with earlier.

“The meeting was one of the pleasantries and very convivial. The meeting lasted about 30 minutes.”
