The Ministry of Power on Saturday explained the cause of the country’s present poor power supply.
According to Isa Sanusi, Special Adviser, Media to the Minister, the poor supply was caused by the temporary closure of the Oben power plant.
“Other power plants on other gas sources are undergoing planned maintenance and capacity testing,” it added.
The ministry announced that it was collaborating with Seplat Energy to restore power over the weekend.
