On Thursday evening, President Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) directed law enforcement authorities to conduct a comprehensive investigation and bring to justice all those responsible for the horrible murder of Dr Rabe Nasir, the Katsina State Commissioner of Science and Technology.

Garba Shehu, the President’s Senior Special Assistant for Media and Publicity, made the announcement in a statement titled, “President Buhari condemns Katsina Commissioner’s murder, says killers must be found.”

Buhari, who called Rabe’s assassination as “heinous” and “condemnable,” said he is “deeply troubled” by the tragic death of the up-and-coming leader who had dedicated his life to serving his community, state, and country.

“My thoughts are with the bereaved family,” he expressed his condolences to the family.
