According to the association, El- Rufai demonstrated that the era of denials and playing politics with insecurity is over.

In a statement titled ‘Attack on Kaduna-Abuja rail track: A final onslaught by bandits,’ Rev. Joseph Hayab, Vice President of CAN (19 Northern States and Abuja) and its chairman in Kaduna State, said this on Friday.

“The attack on the rail track, which has resulted in the suspension of train services from Abuja to Kaduna, is another cause for concern among Kaduna State locals and tourists,” he said.

“To our government and security agents, the Kaduna bandits have grown very strong and daring.

“Thank God, Governor El-Rufai has called on the Federal Government to declare bandits terrorists so that our security forces can kill them, demonstrating that the era of denial and playing politics with insecurity is over.”
