2023: Reject Vote Buying And Violence Labour Party Tells Nigerians

Labour Party

The Labour Party urges Nigerians to support, the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in the upcoming election and to veto vote buying and violence.

National Youth Leader of the party, Prince Kennedy Ahanotu, on Sunday In a press conference advised Nigerians to resist politicians who rely on buying votes and promoting violence to win elections. He emphasized that this election is an opportunity to vote out leaders who are responsible for the country’s challenges. Ahanotu begged voters to resist the temptation of selling their votes, which undermines the integrity of the election process.

He also urged Nigerian youths not to be tools for politicians who promote violence and election rigging, but to use their voices and votes to create a better Nigeria. The Labour Party believes that voting for Peter Obi and Yusuf Baba-Ahmed can bring an end to hardship, insecurity, and the reign of bandits, terrorists, and other criminals who have held the country to ransom. Ahanotu also supported the outgoing president’s cashless policy despite its poor implementation, stating that it has contributed to a reduction in kidnappings, banditry, and police bribery.
