Muslim Leaders Criticize Sanwo-Olu’s Nominees
Last Wednesday, leaders of the Muslim community in Lagos State stormed the state house of assembly in protest of the governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and his allegedly biased list of nominees.
It was understood that the Muslim leaders who protested outside the State House of Assembly had expressed their displeasure with what they perceived to be official Muslim prejudice in the state.
Their reaction comes in response to the governor’s appointment of 31 Christians and eight Muslims for his cabinet.
