Tinubu Returns To Abuja Following COP28 Summit

President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday returned to Abuja following his participation in the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference held in Dubai, UAE.
 During the summit, Tinubu engaged in bilateral discussions with various leaders, including King Charles of England and the President of UAE, and witnessed the signing of an accelerated performance agreement between Nigeria and Germany to enhance the country’s electricity supply.
Additionally, he hosted a high-level meeting on the Nigeria Carbon Market and Electric Buses Rollout Programme.
Tinubu had on November 29, 2023, departed Abuja for Dubai for the summit expected to end on December 12, 2023.
Despite criticism for 1,411 Nigerian registered delegates, the government clarified that it funded 422 individuals to the summit.
