Tinubu Meet With Uzor Kalu In Abuja

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), met with Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, former Governor of Abia State and current Chief Whip of the Senate, yesterday.
On Saturday evening, Tinubu arrived at the Abuja Home of Kalu villa at about 4:25 p.m.
Both men were seen exchanging friendly greetings prior to the closed-door discussion, and both appeared to be in good spirits.
Kalu had expressed gratitude to God before the closed-door meeting for Tinubu’s quick recovery and treatment in a London hospital.
Tinubu returned to Nigeria on October 8 after spending months in London for knee surgery, according to reports.
The purpose of their meeting has yet to be revealed to the media, although it might be related to the presidential election in 2023.
Some Nigerians are pressuring Tinubu and Kalu to run for president in 2023, citing the possibility that their party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), could zone its presidential ticket to the South.
During the same time period, both men served as Governors of their respective states.
While Tinubu was a previous Senator, Orji Uzor Kalu is now a Senator in the 9th Senate, representing Abia North Senatorial District.
