Terrorists Release Pregnant Woman Kidnapped In Abuja-Kaduna Train Attack

The terrorist group responsible for the attack has freed one of the Abuja-Kaduna train attack victims who was pregnant at the time of the attack.

The woman was released on Saturday after spending weeks in the terrorist’s den.

Recall that the kidnapping took place on March 28, 2022.

Several people were killed in the massacre, while others were kidnapped by the attackers.

Today, a video of the pregnant woman dressed in a black Muslim dress (Abaya) surfaced on the internet.

The victim was said to have been freed on compassionate grounds.

The lady who was caught on camera putting on a face mask urged the federal government to talk to the terrorists.

She said: “It’s becoming very important because of the uncertainty surrounding the plight of others who are still in the terrorist’s den.

“The terrorists are taking care of us, they feed us well and give us our medication,” she said.

Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, a well-known Islamic cleric, had earlier urged President Muhammadu Buhari’s government to ensure the prompt release of the abducted victims of the Abuja-Kaduna train.

He also asked Buhari to meet the terrorists’ demands in order to ensure the release of the abducted passengers who had been held captive for more than 40 days.

Gumi made the calls, according to Naija News, at a prayer session organized by Jama’iyyar Matan in Kaduna on Thursday.

During the prayer, the cleric stated the Federal Government should act immediately to combat bandit and terrorist activities in the North, adding that the gunmen had taken control of the country.

Gumi, who led a Muslim prayer for the abducted passengers on the Abuja-Kaduna train, reassured the victims’ families that the victims would be released soon and prayed that God would console them.
