Governor Chukwuma Soludo has approved a fresh round of appointments into top government positions in Anambra State, aimed at strengthening his administration’s operations across key sectors.
The announcement, conveyed by his Chief Press Secretary, highlighted appointments spanning administration, justice, health, innovation, and security.
Mrs. Ngozi Iwouno has been selected as Head of Service, while Tobechukwu Nweke, SAN, takes on the role of Attorney-General. Joachin Anetoh was named Principal Secretary to the Governor, with Ben Nwankwo appointed Chief of Staff. Frank-Collins Okafor will serve as State Chief of Protocol.
Other officials retained or assigned new roles include Christian Aburime as Chief Press Secretary, Vincent Okechi as Deputy Chief of Staff, and Ms. Ngozi Lucy Okoye as Deputy State Chief of Protocol.
In addition, the governor approved several special adviser positions to support policy implementation. These include Dr. Godwin Nnadozie for Medicals and Pharmaceuticals, Ms. Chinwe Okoli for Innovation and Business Incubation, Ebuka Nwankwo for Special Projects, and Mr. Ken Emeakayi for Community Security.
The appointments come as Soludo begins a new phase of governance following his re-election, with a renewed focus on economic growth, improved security, and infrastructure development across the state.
