The leadership of the 10th Senate has contributes 109 million naira from their December salaries to support the victims of the accidental army air strike in Tudun Biri village, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Senator Barau Jibrin, the Deputy Senate President, announced the donation during a condolence visit to Governor Uba Sani. Expressing sympathy for the tragic incident,
Senator Jibrin, representing Senate President Senator Godswill Akpabio, assured collaboration with the Presidency to investigate the circumstances of the bombing and prevent a recurrence.
Governor Sani appreciated the senators’ empathy and urged the National Assembly to assist the Federal Government in examining the incident while also advocating for a review of the creation of state police for enhanced security management.
