President Tinubu Denounces Borno State Bomb Attacks

President Bola Tinubu has vehemently denounced the bomb attacks that tragically claimed lives and injured others in Gwoza local government area of Borno State on Saturday.
In a statement released on Sunday by presidential spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu condemned the series of bombings in Tashan Mararaba, Gwoza town. He described these attacks as desperate acts of terror, highlighting the pressure being placed on terrorists and the success in reducing their ability to carry out such offensives.
The president asserted that those responsible for the violence would face justice, emphasizing that these cowardly attacks are isolated incidents. He assured that his administration will not allow the nation to descend into an era of fear, tears, sorrow, and bloodshed.
“The President stated that his administration is taking necessary measures to secure citizens, emphasizing that efforts will be redoubled to ensure that those who trouble the nation, dispatching precious lives, and disrupting law and order are completely removed,” the statement added.
President Tinubu expressed his condolences to the victims, their families, the government, and the people of Borno State.
