President Tinubu Appoints Adebiyi As New Permanent Secretary For State House

Engr. Olusesan Olufunso Adebiyi has been appointed to serve as the new Permanent Secretary of the State House, by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Tijjani Umar, who held office from April 5, 2020 until his retirement on August 10, 2023, is succeeded by Adebiyi.
On Monday in Abuja, Adebiyi took over in a formal capacity. He vowed to work tirelessly for President Tinubu’s administration.
Adebiyi, who formerly served as the Federal Ministry of Health’s Permanent Secretary, thanked his predecessor, Umar, at a handover ceremony held in the State House Administrative block.
He commended Umar on his successful retirement on August 10, 2023, and praised his committed service to the country.
The new Permanent Secretary, therefore, urged State House staff to work as a cohesive team, with renewed vigour and dedication to succeed.
He said: ”I sincerely pledge my commitment to my fatherland. I will put forth my best effort for the success of the administration.
“I pledge my faithfulness, hard work, honesty, and sincerity of purpose in ensuring that every assignment given to me is carried out to the letter.”
Adebiyi, who is from Ekiti State was born on January 8, 1968 in Kabba, Kogi State.
