Jeune Afrique Media Group is organizing it in partnership with the International Finance Corporation, a World Bank subsidiary.
The event comes only a few days after Osinbajo lost the All Progressive Congress presidential primary.
The forum is Africa’s largest private sector event, including conferences, debates, and high-level meetings focusing on the private sector’s role in the continent’s development.
Senior Special Assistant to the President, Laolu Akande, in a statement on Sunday, said Prof Osinbajo will join President Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana, other business and political leaders in the opening panel in discussing the topic “Economic Sovereignty: From Ambition to Action”.
The Vice President will also undertake bilateral meetings with a number of stakeholders, including the UN Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development, Her Majesty, Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, and Makhtar Diop, Managing Director of the International Finance Corporation.
The VP is accompanied by the Special Adviser to the President on Economic Matters, Ambassador Adeyemi Dipeolu and he is expected back to Nigeria later today.
