The North-West zone of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has endorsed President Bola Tinubu as its sole candidate for the 2027 presidential election and passed a vote of confidence in his leadership.
The resolution was reached during a high-level stakeholders’ meeting held on Saturday in Kaduna, where party leaders praised Tinubu’s governance style, reforms, and commitment to national development, particularly in the North-West region.
Reading the communique on behalf of the zone, Kaduna State Governor and APC North-West Coordinating Governor, Uba Sani, reaffirmed the region’s support for Tinubu.
“We thank and commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his purposeful leadership, bold reforms, and unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s progress, especially in the North-West zone,” the communique stated.
The APC North-West leadership credited Tinubu’s administration with significant security improvements in the region, enabling displaced farmers to return to their farms and restoring peace in affected communities.
They also pointed to unprecedented federal appointments, including 12 ministerial slots, key legislative and security positions, and major infrastructure projects as evidence of the President’s inclusive governance and developmental agenda.
In attendance were all APC governors from the zone, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, former governors, state party chairmen, lawmakers, ministers, and heads of federal agencies.
