‘No Kings’ Protests Planned Across Southern California in Nationwide Anti-Trump Demonstrations

Dozens of “No Kings” protests are set to take place across Southern California on Saturday, as part of a nationwide wave of demonstrations opposing President Donald Trump and his administration.

Organizers say more than 3,000 protests are planned across the country, with an estimated 9 million participants expected—potentially making it one of the largest coordinated protest movements in U.S. history. Notably, about two-thirds of the demonstrations are scheduled to occur outside major urban centers.

In Southern California, events will span multiple counties, including Los Angeles County, Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, and Ventura County.

Protests are scheduled in a wide range of locations—from major cities like Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Santa Monica, to smaller communities such as Ojai and Wrightwood.

Demonstrations are expected to take place at parks, civic centers, major intersections, and public landmarks throughout the region, with events scheduled throughout the day—from early morning gatherings to evening rallies.

Organizers say the protests are aimed at mobilizing public opposition to the administration’s policies, while also demonstrating broad, nationwide engagement ahead of upcoming elections.

Authorities have not reported any major security concerns, but officials are expected to monitor turnout and traffic impacts as large crowds gather across the region.
