Chairman of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Kano State, Alhaji Hashimu Dungurawa, asserted that detractors cannot thwart the destiny of the party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Addressing rumors of Kwankwaso being investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over an alleged N2.5 billion fraud, Dungurawa dismissed the reports as false, attributing them to opponents attempting to undermine Kwankwaso’s reputation.

Dungurawa emphasized Kwankwaso’s integrity and capability to lead the country, stating, “Kwankwaso remains the only person with integrity, respect, popularity, and capacity to govern this country.” He further criticized the rumors as baseless and counterproductive, noting they only serve to increase Kwankwaso’s popularity.

“The rumour came from an enemy, shared by ignorance, and accepted by a fool. Thank God that we are not all three,” Dungurawa remarked, reaffirming the support and loyalty of Kwankwaso’s followers.
