Other members include former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, who was listed as a member of the National Campaign Advisory Council; Senator Ovie Omo-Agege; Senator Victor Umeh; Buba Galadima; Yakubu Ochefu; Mahmud Jahun; Moshood Salvador; Victor Ogene; Muktar Usman; Sidi Abdul; Babatunde Alli; and Mrs Dudu Manuga.

The council also includes a 40-member National Campaign Advisory Council and 37 state campaign coordinators.

The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Osa Director, was appointed Director of Communication and Media, while retired Major General John Enenche, a former defence spokesperson, was named Director of Security and Intelligence.

Announcing the appointments on its X handle, the NDC said the council would provide strategic leadership, coordinate campaign activities nationwide and mobilise Nigerians behind the party’s vision of a “new, just, and prosperous Nigeria”.

The statement said the campaign would be conducted under the leadership of Dickson, with Obi and Kwankwaso serving in their designated roles alongside other party officials.

The party also called on its members, supporters and Nigerians to remain united as it prepares for the 2027 elections.

“We call on all party members, supporters, and well-meaning Nigerians to remain united and focused as we work together to rescue our country,” the statement said.
