Kila Market is located in Odeda local government area of Ogun state and has over the years been synonymous with hustling and bustling before the nation’s independence.
According to history, Kila Market was formerly a melting point for farmers in Odeda,Olodo,Olugbo, Omi Adio, Orile Ilugun , Alagbagba Osiele , Bakatari to mention but a few. It remains a place where one can virtually get all that is needed even though it is known for cassava flour (Gaari) and Yam flour (Elubo) Kila ,it was adjudged to be the best in the southwestern part of Nigeria.
Kila Market as it was in the olden days still remains a notable market in the southwestern part of Nigeria as it attracts customers from Lagos, Oyo and Ogun states who strongly believe is the only place where the best cassava is sold.
