Kanye West has announced plans to counter-sue his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, after she filed a lawsuit accusing him of sexual harassment and breach of contract.
In her lawsuit, Pisciotta claimed that West sent her vulgar texts and performed sex acts while on the phone with her. West’s legal representative has dismissed these accusations as “baseless” and has accused Pisciotta of “blackmail and extortion” after West allegedly rejected her sexual advances.
“In response to these baseless allegations, Ye will be filing a lawsuit against Ms. Pisciotta,” stated West’s representative, using the rapper’s current preferred name.
Lauren Pisciotta, who reportedly worked for Kanye West from 2021 to 2022, has filed a lawsuit against the star, accusing him of sexual harassment and breach of contract. Pisciotta initially worked on West’s fashion line before becoming his personal assistant with an annual salary of $1 million (£780,000).
Pisciotta’s lawsuit alleges that West bombarded her with explicit texts, including pornographic videos, and masturbated while on the phone with her. She also claims that he pleasured himself in front of her after “trapping” her in a private room on his plane. Pisciotta, a former OnlyFans model, said she was abruptly fired in 2022 without receiving her promised severance package.
West’s lawyer has dismissed these allegations as “baseless,” asserting that Pisciotta was “terminated for being unqualified” and for “demanding unreasonable sums of money,” including an annual salary of $4 million (£3.13m). The lawyer also accused Pisciotta of “lascivious, unhinged conduct” and claimed she “consistently used sexual coercion” to demand money and material items, such as designer handbags and a Lamborghini. The statement further alleged that after West rejected her advances, Pisciotta attempted to blackmail him for $60 million (£47m).
West’s legal representative announced plans to counter-sue Pisciotta in response to what they described as “blackmail and extortion.”
Pisciotta declined commenting when the press reached out to her but posted a message on her Instagram story on Tuesday: “Your soul becomes aligned with freedom when you allow others the liberty to dislike you, judge you and disagree with you.”
