Manchester United player, Nemanja Matic, will leave the club at the end of this season. The footballer has garnered the interest of Mourinho, who knows the player well from his time managing the Red Devils. Nemanja Matic and Jose Mourinho could soon be crossing paths once again.
The footballer recently announced that he will be leaving Manchester United at the end of this season. Therefore, the player will be considering his options for his next destination. Roma is one team interested in bringing his services to their club.
According to ‘TMW’, the Serbian center midfielder has caught the interest of their Portuguese manager, who already knows all about him after managing the player during his spell as Manchester United’s head coach.
The player still has a year left on his contract at the club. However, he announced on social media that he will put an end to his Premier League career at the end of this season. “It has been a huge honor to play for this club”, he explained in his Instagram post.
Matic arrived at Old Trafford in 2017 and since then, he has played in 183 matches for the Red Devils. In terms of his numbers this current season, he has appeared in 28 matches in which he has made a total of two assists.
