Governor Radda Vows to Transform Katsina into an Educational Hub

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to making the state a center of educational excellence.

Speaking on Tuesday at the launch of the newly renovated Family Support Programme (FSP) Nursery and Primary School, the governor highlighted his vision of fostering academic proficiency, critical thinking, innovation, and strong moral values among students.

The renovation project was funded by the Oando Foundation and facilitated by Zainab Musa-Musawa, the state’s commissioner for secondary and basic education.

“This project is a testament to our dedication to providing a conducive learning environment for our children,” Radda said. “A well-maintained and resource-equipped school is essential for fostering a love of learning and intellectual growth.”

He emphasized his administration’s commitment to increasing school enrollment, enhancing education quality, and ensuring that graduates acquire skills necessary for careers in critical sectors such as medicine, engineering, technology, and agriculture.

To achieve this, Radda revealed that his government is investing in infrastructural development, teacher training, and curriculum enhancements to align education with global standards.

The governor called on parents, teachers, community leaders, and private stakeholders to collaborate with his administration in advancing education in the state.

“Let us work together to create a brighter future for our children and a more prosperous Katsina. I encourage private organizations to follow this noble example by investing in the future of our youth,” he said.
