Germany Triumphs in U-17 World Cup Final, Defeating France On Penalties

In a thrilling Under-17 World Cup football final in Indonesia, Germany emerged victorious against France in a penalty shootout after the match ended 2-2 in extra time.
Despite going down to ten men, Germany showcased resilience, securing both the world and European age titles in the same year.
Goalkeeper Konstantin Heide’s heroic saves, including two crucial penalties, paved the way for Germany’s triumph as they sealed the shootout 4-3.
The win marked their first Under-17 world title and a successful rematch against France from this year’s European Championship final, which they also won on penalties.
Paris Brunner and Noah Darvich’s goals had given Germany a two-goal lead, but France fought back, leveling the score before the penalty drama unfolded.
