Matthew Mindler, the former child actor best known for acting alongside Paul Rudd in the 2011 feature “Our Idiot Brother,” was found dead Saturday morning, his university confirmed in a statement.
The cause of death is under investigation, but authorities did describe it as an “unintended death.”
“It is with a grieving heart that I let you know of the death of 19-year-old Matthew Mindler from Hellertown, Pennsylvania, a first-year student at Millersville University. Our thoughts of comfort and peace are with his friends and family during this difficult time,” an email from the university reads.

He’s also credited for a role on the long-running soap opera “As The World Turns,” according to IMDb.
