Vice President Kashim Shettima has assured that the federal government will integrate technology into Nigeria’s educational infrastructure to tackle human capacity and resource gaps, aiming to improve learning outcomes. Speaking during a meeting with the World Bank Nigeria team at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Shettima stressed the administration’s commitment to leveraging technological advancements for national development.
Drawing from India’s success with KYAN smart class solutions in rural education, Shettima expressed optimism about implementing similar innovations in Nigeria. He emphasized the need for comprehensive education reform, including infrastructure development, teacher training, and technological integration.
The World Bank team, led by Nigeria Country Director Dr. Ndiamé Diop, highlighted their human capital development initiatives focused on governance, healthcare, and education, emphasizing technology as a key enabler of improved service delivery across the country.
