FG Make Public Photographs Of Boko Haram Terrorists Who Escaped From Kuje Prison

The biographical information and photographs of 64 terrorists who escaped from the Kuje Medium Correctional Center in Abuja have been made public by the federal government. They have all been listed as wanted.The escapees are terrorists from the Boko Haram group, according to information provided to reporters by the Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Abubakar Umar.

He advised members of the public to get in touch with the nearest security agency if they have any pertinent information that could result in the re-arrest of the eluding inmates.

It will be recalled that following Tuesday’s attack on the Kuje Prison facility by terrorists in which many inmates were set free and escaped, the Minister of Defence, Bashir Magashi disclosed that all the terrorists held in the Kuje facility have escaped.

879 of the 994 inmates in custody had escaped including some high-profile terrorists and criminals. Officials said 64 of the escapees are members of the Boko Haram terrorist group.

The PRO added later that 443 of the escapees had been apprehended, increasing the facility’s total number of inmates to 551.
