President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of four new Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service, filling key vacancies across ministries and departments.
The appointments were announced on Thursday in Abuja by Eno Olotu, Director of Information and Public Relations in the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HCSF).
The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are:
· Mrs. Warrens Augusta (Bayelsa State)
· Mrs. Jones-Nebo Bella (Enugu State)
· Mr. Aminu Yargaya (Kano State)
· Mr. Shoretire Kamil (Ogun State)
Olotu stated that the appointments followed a rigorous and transparent selection process, reflecting the administration’s commitment to meritocracy and excellence within the civil service.
“The new permanent secretaries will bring their wealth of experience and expertise to their roles, which will further strengthen public service delivery and support the government’s development agenda,” she said.
Meanwhile, Didi Walson-Jack congratulated the appointees and commended President Tinubu for promoting transparency, meritocracy, and professionalism. She noted that the appointments demonstrate the administration’s commitment to building a competent, results-oriented public service capable of meeting the needs of Nigerians.
These appointments mark a strategic effort by the Tinubu administration to ensure that leadership in the civil service is skilled, accountable, and aligned with national development priorities.
