President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated Ademola Adeleke, the governor of Osun State, as he marks his 63rd birthday on May 13, 2023, and urged him to seek God so that he can fulfil his duties.

In the message, signed by one of the president’s media handlers, Femi Adesina, Buhari stated that Adeleke had solidified his base and gradually built a formidable network of friends and political allies that had helped him get victories, including leading one of the 36 states in the country.

Buhari continued by saying that Adeleke’s laid-back demeanor had developed into a strength. Furthermore, he advised the governor, whose election victory had just been upheld by the Supreme Court, to put the wellbeing of the state and its citizens first and to pray for direction from God so that he could carry out his duty.
