The long-awaited Super Bowl LX halftime show arrived Sunday night, with Bad Bunny delivering a performance steeped in cultural symbolism and chart-topping hits.
Bad Bunny took the stage at Levi Stadium wearing an all-white, jersey-style outfit emblazoned with “Ocasio” — a nod to his real last name. The Grammy-winning global star opened the set with “Tití Me Preguntó,” immediately setting the tone for a show centered on his Puerto Rican roots.
The performance began with a cinematic shot of Bad Bunny walking through towering sugar cane fields alongside backup dancers dressed as agricultural workers, imagery widely associated with Caribbean history and labor. He moved through a medley of fan favorites, including “BAILE INoLVIDABLE” and “NUEVAYoL,” performed against a colorful market-style backdrop labeled “La Marqueta.”
Midway through the set, Bad Bunny dramatically crashed through a rooftop into a new stage area, continuing the performance without pause. In another moment, he acknowledged his recent success by handing a Grammy award to a young boy onstage.
The show concluded with fireworks erupting overhead during his hit “DtMF.” For part of the finale, Bad Bunny wore a Puerto Rican flag across his back, underscoring the central role his heritage played throughout the halftime spectacle.
