As his second term comes to an end in 2023, Governor of Cross River State Prof. Ben Ayade has appointed 86 people to serve on several councils and boards.
The appointments takes immediate effect, according to a statement released on Friday by Linus Obogo, the Governor’s deputy chief press secretary.
The majority of the new appointees will be members of Community Mobilization Council.
Others were appointed as members of the Public Utility Management Board as well as directors of agencies and members of other boards.
In his first and second terms in office, the governor appointed a number of aides through his “Food on the Table” strategy.
