The All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged Nigerians to reject the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in future elections, warning that a PDP return to power would have dire consequences for the country.
Speaking to reporters, Bala Ibrahim, APC’s National Publicity Director, accused the PDP of leaving behind a legacy of misrule during its 16 years in power, saying Nigeria is still suffering from the impact.
“People seem to forget the rot left behind. Are we really considering giving these clowns another chance to ruin the country? This is just the beginning, I assure you,” Ibrahim said.
He further described the PDP as “incompetent”, pointing to its ongoing internal crisis as proof of its inability to govern.
“How can the APC be responsible for their leadership crisis? We won’t even stay near them.”
Ibrahim also suggested that the PDP should take lessons from the APC’s Progressive Institute, founded by National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, on how to practice politics effectively.
“If the PDP wants to understand how to play politics without bitterness, they should come and learn from us.”
