The All Progressives Congress has scheduled Tuesday, March 24, 2026, for the screening of aspirants vying for national positions ahead of its convention.

In a notice issued by the party’s Aspirants’ Screening Committee, all candidates who have completed the purchase and submission of their nomination forms were invited to participate in the exercise.

The screening will take place at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja, with proceedings expected to begin at 9:00 a.m.

According to the committee, attendance is compulsory, and aspirants must appear in person with all necessary documents for verification.

“The Aspirants’ Screening Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention 2026 hereby invites all aspirants who have duly purchased and submitted Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to contest for National Offices at the Convention to attend the screening exercise scheduled as follows:

“All aspirants are required to attend in person and arrive promptly with all relevant supporting documents for verification.”

The statement was signed by the committee’s secretary, Isa Yuguda.

The screening marks a crucial step in preparations for the party’s 2026 National Convention, where key national officials are expected to emerge.
