Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois: IBF World Heavyweight Title Showdown

Anthony Joshua is set to face Daniel Dubois in an all-British clash for the IBF world heavyweight title at Wembley on September 21.
This matchup follows the announcement that Oleksandr Usyk, the reigning champion, is vacating the belt.
Dubois, who is the IBF’s mandatory challenger, will challenge Joshua for the title. Usyk, who made history by becoming the first heavyweight to hold the IBF, WBO, WBA, and WBC belts after defeating Tyson Fury in a split decision in Saudi Arabia last month, addressed Joshua and Dubois in a video posted on social media, stating: “Anthony and Daniel, listen. I know the IBF title is important to you. It is my present to you on September 21.”
This fight is significant for both British fighters. Joshua, a two-time world champion, boasts a record of 28 victories and three losses. Dubois, at 28 years old, has won 21 of his 23 professional fights, marking a formidable challenge for Joshua.
The bout will take place at Wembley, a venue known for hosting major boxing events, and is expected to attract significant attention from fans and the media. This fight also highlights the competitive nature of the British boxing scene, with two of its top heavyweights vying for one of the sport’s most prestigious titles.
