Michael died on Saturday morning in Markurdi, the capital of Benue state in Nigeria’s middle belt, according to his colleague Hassan Ibrahim, commonly known as Ibro.
In a recent interview, Aboh denied claims that he was mentally unwell. Despite this, he confessed that he has had several problems since moving from Lagos.
Terna Rapsody Hyacinth, a family friend, confirmed the spread of the news in a post on his own Facebook page.
“Terna wrote, “I wish people were eager to help you survive when you were alive suffering, roaming the street of Makurdi than the way they are eager to let the world know of your demise today!! Rest on Legend”.
Ibrahim, who had claimed that Aboh was into drugs and alcohol, said he was mentally unstable.
“It is so sad and quick to say after our long run together in this life to live a better life coming short for you…My brother collapsed why taking his bath this morning and now My Michael is no more,” he wrote.
“Tears have behold my eyes and my hands are shaking as I can’t hide the fact that you’ve passed on on this day

really cannot question God for I have lost the other part of myself, a brother and a friend.”
According to reports, Aboh has been in Makurdi since he was unable to cope with the lifestyle in Lagos State.
