Dangote Refinery Extends IPO Deadline by Two Weeks to October 27

Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE has extended the application deadline for its initial public offering (IPO) by two weeks to October 27, 2026, following approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The offer, which opened on September 14, was originally scheduled to close on October 13. The company said the extension followed strong interest from eligible investors across Africa and international markets.

The IPO comprises 4.1 billion ordinary shares priced at ₦525 each, with a nominal value of US$0.000013 per share.

Dangote Group President, Aliko Dangote, told journalists at the refinery that the IPO was progressing well.

The company said investor participation reflected confidence in its long-term growth prospects and its role in transforming Africa’s energy sector.

Meanwhile, Dangote disclosed on September 22 that the conglomerate planned to list its fertiliser business through an IPO in 2028.
