Vice President Kashim Shettima has reiterated Nigeria’s openness to investments and partnerships across key sectors, stressing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to economic transformation.
Shettima made the remarks on Monday while receiving a delegation from Visa, led by Tareq Muhmood, Regional President for Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEMEA), at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
He highlighted the sweeping reforms introduced by the Tinubu administration since 2023, describing them as tough but necessary measures that are beginning to yield positive results.
“President Tinubu is determined to change the face of our nation. Today, there is great room for expansion in the Nigerian economy. Eight out of the ten unicorns in Africa are from Nigeria,” Shettima said.
The Vice President assured that the government remains committed to creating an enabling environment for innovation, investments, and collaboration to drive sustainable growth
