The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday said it is proud of the Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde. 

The party said this while felicitating with Makinde on his birthday yesterday. The party, describing Makinde as a Christmas baby, stated that he is an embodiment of God’s blessing, beloved of the people; a humane personality, and an exceptionally dedicated administrator who remains committed to the unity, stability, and development of the nation. The national publicity secretary of PDP, Hon Debo Ologunagba, in a statement, declared that as a committed member of the PDP, Governor Makinde persistently displays excellent leadership strides particularly in effectively delivering landmark and legacy projects for the benefit of the people in line with the manifesto, policies, and programs of the PDP.

“Our Party is proud of its efforts in the delivery of citizen empowerment, human capital, and infrastructural developments across all sectors in Oyo State in keeping with the vision of the PDP. “The Oyo State Independent Power Project, the strategic investment in agriculture, agribusiness as well as massive achievements in education, healthcare, aviation, transportation, and water resources among others stand Governor Makinde out as a leader with a heart for the people. “The PDP congratulates Governor Makinde on this special day and prays to God to grant him many more years in active service to our country and humanity,” the party said.
